What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Not in Luke Bryan‘s case! The country singer scored BIG on a random day off and we need his secret tips ASAP.

On Audacy’s Rob + Holly show, the American Idol judge and “Play It Again” singer shared his one-in-a-million story on about that one time he randomly won $60,000 in less than 10 minutes. Yes, we’re extremely jealous, but who wouldn’t be?!

Let’s talk about how it all went down. During an interview with Audacy’s Rob + Holly about his upcoming documentary series called Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary, he reflected on that one time he won at 14 hands of blackjack while in Vegas. “We took a day off and the Georgia Bulldogs were playing at like, 12 noon. Well, I go down and I wanted to play a few hands of Blackjack, and then I wanted to stop and go sit at a bar and watch my Georgia Bulldogs play.” He goes to the Blackjack table with 30 minutes to spare before he plans to watch the SEC football team play and those few spare minutes made him $60,000 richer. “I did not mean to win that much money, I just, it happened,” Luke admitted.

Along with award-winning singer, judge, and host, add “lucky charm” to his many skills. The big win is fitting considering Luke will be headlining a residency beginning February 2022 in Las Vegas at the Resorts World Theatre. He’ll also be joining the impressive list of celebrities taking residencies in Vegas next year like country singer Carrie Underwood, fellow American Idol judge Katy Perry, and megastar Celine Dion.

From the looks of it, Luke Bryan is on a roll and his career just keeps flourishing. The singer was recently tapped as this year’s CMA Awards host and he’ll be making history as the first solo host. As a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner, he’ll definitely be able to hold down the fort at “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”

We hope Luke is holding on tight to that extra cash that he won because he’ll also be busy traveling for the upcoming season of American Idol. Come Spring 2022, he’ll be back behind the judges’ desk with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie to find the next big voice in music.
